This week at Pulling Together we have started to talk about out latest project “OT Wonderwomen.” This is a project that will explore how to become an Old Trafford Wonder Woman. By the end of the project we hope to have a team of women/young girls who know where to get advice and give support to other women in their local community. All of the sessions will be held online via Zoom but materials will be delivered /posted to the group members so they can participate in creating a Wonderwomen collage of positive words and imagery as a reminder of this lockdown project. Pulling Together would like to thank GMCVO for funding this project .
This week we looked at positive female role models and what they have done that can inspire us in our day to day lives. Women such as Kamala Harris, Malala Yousaf, Nadiya Hussain and Michelle Obama were some of the names that came up in our discussions and the group decided that they would like to focus on these positive role models as a base for the collage.
